Corteiz (CRTZ) is an independent London streetwear brand founded in 2017 by Clint419 that has achieved massive global influence through an anti-establishment identity symbolized by its Alcatraz Island logo and "Rules the World" slogan. The brand is well known for its extreme exclusivity, bypassing traditional retail to sell heavy-weight tracksuits, cargo pants, and Nike collaborations via password-protected online drops and chaotic, unannounced guerrilla pop-up events. This artificial scarcity, paired with a refusal to use mainstream PR, has built a fiercely loyal, cult-like community that rejects corporate fashion culture.
